How do I use downloaded fonts in Photoshop CS2?

I downloaded some fonts and I don't know how to use them. Please help. Oh, and I already know that downloaded fonts can be used. My friend told me. Don't say I can't.

I did all that jazz and I have not found the fonts.

after you installed the fonts which i assume you did, restart photoshop. just simply exit and start it back up.

If you have downloaded ttf format fonts then ... go to windows operating system control panel >> fonts >> file >> install new fonts ... then select the downloaded fonts. The job is finished.

You can use this font in Photoshop CS2, as well as in other applications like Office etc.

Any true type fonts that you locate will work. Photoshop, like all programs that us fonts, get their fonts from the Windows Font folder. So after you have downloaded your fonts, just copy and paste them into this folder. It is located at: My Computer/"C"/Windows/Fonts. To locate web sites that have fonts for you to download, just do a Google search for "Fonts".

Some downloaded fonts can be used, some can't... If you see and can use these fonts in other programmes, but you don't see them in Photoshop, it's because you can't use them there... Sorry, but it's just the way it is.

Hey :

Simply , if the fonts are zipped , just extract them in c:/windows/fonts ,,, some fonts need to restart windows to take effact ,, re-open your appliction ( photoshop - word - any software able to modify )

if the font with .tff ext ,, go to c:/windows/fonts ,, drop them there and agree to install them ,, easy ,

Just extract them then drag the font files (.TTF) to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
