You're right, there may be something going on. You will have to play detective. If you get a chance try to see if he has received any texts from her and read them. Ask him why he runs your sister down. You need to follow him if you can (without being seen) to see where he goes. I wish you luck.

I did not understand you fully but if it is about him seding her the text, even though he rants about her being all bad, in front of you, it does seem fishy. Perhaps, your bf thought that you might feel jealous of her though he is just a friend and thought that being friends with her but keeping that out of your eyes, is the best way to keep you from getting jealous. Still, it seems that there is something he is trying to hide. The best way is to have a talk with him plainly about what seems 'not right' to you. Then, let it go.

He could be trying to distract you by saying bad things about your sister - thinking that will dupe you into not realising he likes her. I am not sure - it is quite possible that there is just a coincidence and your bf and sister are not seeing each other - texts can be quite innocent - do you feel jealous about your bf with other women, or is it just your sister? Can you trust your sister? does she have a bf, is she a flirt? Gut feelings are usually good but don't raise anything with him until you have evidence - otherwise it could make your relationship worse - good luck, keep confidence in yourself, then whatever happens you will be stronger.
