I would add the stick to flavor the apple sauce while it was cooking, make sure all traces are out of the sauce before serving. Cinnamon adds such a wonderful flavor to apple sauce. If your baby has any reactions take him to his Dr.

I would stick with powder cinnamon or premixed cinnamon apple sauce.

I didn't give my kids spicy food until the were three or four. Certainly not six to twelve months. Talk to doctor.

I wouldn't advise that you do that. You should talk to your doctor 1st though. Some babies can get pretty sick from spices at that age.

don't give babies spicy foods, they are to young. You can give them baby applesauce.
