I agree with you. People get so angry and frustrated that others don't follow or don't believe the same. Live life to the full, what does it matter if you do or don't 'believe'. It's your own personal opinion, just respect others who choose not to feel the same way as you.

Seriously not all the Atheist here are asking mean things like is God a homosexual, and saying rude things, or saying you are stupid if you are Christian... some just have valid points and questions, I just don't know why if you truly don't believe in something why ask about it? And not all Christians are here getting out of their places by condemning people to hell.... some are asking questions honestly and from their hearts some just don't like the answer but again why ask if you can't respect the opinion given. If you take the religion out there would still be a lack of respect and hatred being shown.....

Part of me agrees with you, but I mean, if people really are that sensitive about their faiths and don't want to hear the opposing side and comments from people who flat-out don't agree, they really shouldn't be on this site, which is an OPEN FORUM for discussion. You've got Christians, atheists and Muslims here, three groups with radically different opinions about everything, so you know sparks are gonna fly. I don't advocate name-calling and insulting, but if people really can't stand hearing "God is imaginary" and things like that... with all due respect, this really isn't the place for them. This is a place where arguing is going to happen, and that's not going to change.

Arguing is not ineffective, it is how all scientific theories and principles are made. For a theory to be valid you have to PROVE it is, and you can't use your own theory to prove that your theory is right. But, that is how you prove your religious texts are all correct. Don't you see the error in that thinking? I am not trying to insult you I am asking you a question. But, you won't answer it because to do so will shake the foundation of your faith; too bad for your faith. If I find a principle that shakes my understanding of the world then I try to develop a theory that will explain the new information. We can't always do that. That's why Newtonian Physics and Quantum Physics don't agree on several basic issues. One day we will find out why, and then that will improve our understanding. But, again your religious book is static and it can never be improved. THAT'S WHY IT DOESN'T WORK AND SCIENCE DOES!
