What do you think of a teacher remembering your face 6 years after you took his class? (ran into him in college cafeteria after taking a 6 year hiatus from school) I only had one class with him and wasn't very vocal or brilliant in class, so I was very shocked to see he remembered me.
Now I seem to run into him alot and everytime I do, he seems to want to get my attention, talk to me, etc

BTW--I think he's married. I think he's cute but I won't pursue anything. Just wondering if you think this is odd.

You are very self consious. There is nothing wrong in a person to talk to another. How do you know what is his intention. By the same analogy how did you rememeber him/

If you are very cute, or otherwise attractive to him, it is not odd.

If he is much older and/or married, then it is odd, and I'd just get 'out of his way' e.g. say things like 'Sorry, I am meeting my boy friend in 5 minutes at Starbucks. Bye.'

Yes, it is odd. I had a professor (well, actually I never even had a class with him) who was married and wanted to hang out with me. Something was just off...try to avoid him.

Not odd. Either he just likes talking to you or had fantasies of boning you in a pelting rain. Check it out.

No it's not odd. You obviously have a very high opinion of yourself.

I have had that situation before too, I would take it as a compliment but always be wary since he could be a weirdo. but maybe he's not and you just made an impression on him.

Who really know, but looks like he wants more then only attention. If you keep distance you'll be OK.
