there is more blood on your hands compared to anything the Muslims have done in the past 1400 years.
How then do you claim that you are a loving and peaceful people?
How then do you accuse Islam of propagating 'killing the infidel' when it is (rightly) neither Islam nor Christianity that sanctions killing of innocents?

Resorting to personal attacks is a sign of the weak and childish. I might respect you more if you admit that you have no good answers or choose not to answer at all.
FYI, I DO use the Western media for my references, especailly when referring to conflict in South America or South East Asia.

this question was posted in response to the numerous 'shiite vs sunni' questions you see being posted here and to show that you can't blame religion for the wrong of its followers.

Ooh Aziz, better not play the 'numbers game'. Some people won't be too happy lol.
Aziz is merely trying to make a point and he's not trying to stir up hate. Many people have said that killings between people of the same religion only or mostly happens in Islam.
My point is that religions encourage peace and unity, but there are those who have been totally misled and start doing things against the teachings of their religion. Worst of all, they justify their crimes with religion.

First, aziz, thanks for your kind email that you sent me.But now onto the question:
Sure, you can't deny what happened in Rwanda. It is simply a fact. But just because some Roman Catholics commited these terrible crimes doesn't mean that all Christians are like that, anymore than what Muslim terrorists did means that all Muslims are like that.Since we are all human,we will all make mistakes.

I'm a Christian and I completely agree with you. This is a good evidence of false religion. Brothers and sisters killed each other because of tribal difference. Kind of like World War II when the priests in both Allied and Axis camps blessed the war machines with holy water so they can kill their spiritual brothers on the other side.
It doesn't prove that Islam is the true religion since the Sunnis and Shiites do the same to each other but nonetheless this is a very good point.

How about the reported story, I mean in the papers, actual account, where members of one tribe actually took protection in a Catholic church and the priest was of the other tribe, and he killed ten of the members of the opposing tribe himself. Real love there, huh? Really! is this the guy you would want to be teaching you the love of the Christ? And who taught him? This keeps going back you know?

Just like you wouldn't believe what american media says about islam, why should anyone believe what aljazeera says about anyone?
Edit*
You choose to think that my statement is a personal attack. You prove yet again how muslims and christians always think that they are being persecuted.
Using any reference does not make your statement the truth. I can refer to websites of flying unicorns that does not make it true. The validity depends on the content of the website!
Other than that i think arguing with you would be a pointless exercise as there is nobody as thickheaded as muslims and christians, get my drift!
I guess, you believe your question is not a personal attack on all christians! Who is childish and weak minded here really?

As a Roman Catholic of fifty 5+ years now, i will refer you to the Apostle's Creed, and you will discover precisely what i've got faith, to a pair quantity. join interior the RCIA instructions and you will study greater. merely through fact you connect those instructions would not recommend you're able to become a Roman Catholic, yet you will truthfully study greater, plenty greater beneficial than i will define here. you're feeling of the Roman Catholic Church being the suitable suited one is surprising. i will immediately handle why we pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Saints. we prefer to have human beings praying for us, merely as you ask us to do here. We parent the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Saints have countless greater "pull" with Jesus, so we prefer to make our pleas to Him a sprint (or LOT) greater emphatic or "influential" while we get the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Saints praying for us as nicely. You maximum probably have my prayers on your conversion to Roman Catholicism!! God Bless you consistently!! And "ditto" here on how "David" represents somebody else, yet not Jesus our Christ. And that "My canine do in comparison to liberals" is merely as undesirable from the sounds of it, as is "johnno". persist with Christ and His Church, the Roman Catholic Church, and that i will pray maximum heartedly on your vocation to become a clergyman or Monk. that is so extraordinary. back, God Be With you consistently!!

There's no need to exploit the horrors of the genocide in Rwanda to advance an anti-Catholic agenda -- or to accuse us of being less than a "loving and peaceful people."

Catholicism isn't the same as other non-denominational churches. You can't condemn other Christians for what Catholics did. It's like the Sunni and Shia muslims, they're different.
