My friend is anorexic she told me yesterday.
She said all she ate in 5 days was 2 sucking candies.
She dropped 6 pounds in 5 days, she went from being 83 pounds at 5"3, to 77 pounds, at 5"3.
What should I do about this?

she admits to being anorexic? it should be a lot easier to talk her into going to a doctor. she needs professional help and good help isn't that easy to find. if she goes to a doctor and it doesn't seem like the doctor is helping encourage her to go to another one until she finds one that does actually help. encourage her and let her know that you will be a friend through thick and thin -- literally. bad pun -- huh? she needs to learn love and acceptance is unconditional and isn't based on weight. while weighing too much isn't good for your health underweight is just as bad. happy mediums are happy for a reason. find balance. i need to sleep. good night.

Tell her mom or her family. They need for her to get help before it is too late.
When anorexia is left for too long, the damage can be irreversible. I doubt she wants to spend the rest of her life too weak to walk, with a feeding tube through her nose.

Depends, is she depressed? If so, talk to her about it. Holding it in won't help anything. If not depressed. I dono what to tell u.

you should tell someone right away she needs help...the fact that she told you she is anorexic means she is crying for help...please get her some help.
