Well, first of all I wanna make some things clear.

someone here said that the devil has led them away from jesus by tempting them. now, the DEVIL makes people sin right? now, why should the devil lead them to islam? in islam we respect jesus as our prophet, we even have on e whole verse for marriam (or mary). what is so satanic about that? isnt sex a sin in christianity? then why are most of them from "good christian families" doing it so openly?
"CONVERT OR DIE"? theres no such things. Our prophet mohamed (p.b.u.h) respected the non-muslims, and didnt force them. in our holy book theres a verse that goes " ...you go your way, and we go ours..".
whos gonna kill these people if they dont convert? your just saying these dumb things to cover up ur insecurity

people convert to islam, beacause they have found the truth for themselves.

the reason that people attack this fact buy saying the devil this and that is because they are insecure.

read harun yahya, mauriche bucilles and ahmad deedats books.
keep an open mind and read these books before you say this and that.

so far, i have never heard of a muslim converting to any religion and preaching.

Overall, i think its best we stop attacking each other, and learn to respect each other. religion is somthing for yourself, what you believe is sacred in your heart. so the more you question the more you try to make excuses it means youre insecure. peace

the bible has been attacked many times throughout history, yet god's word stands firm today. it is true that the bible has been translated numerous times but that doesn't mean that it has changed. when the bible today is compared to the dead sea scrolls, it is identical. this shows how god's word has been preserved! We often receive questions along the lines of “Explain how these verses do not contradict!” or “Look, here is an error in the Bible!” Admittedly, some of the things people bring up are difficult to answer. However, there are viable and intellectually plausible answers to every supposed Bible contradiction and error. There are books and websites available that list “all the errors in the Bible.” Most people simply get their ammunition from these places – they do not find supposed errors on their own. There are also books and websites available that refute each and every last one of these supposed errors. The saddest thing is that most people who attack the Bible are not truly interested in an answer – all they want to do is attack. Many "Bible attackers" are even aware of the answers, but they continue to use the same old shallow attacks again and again. If you read the Bible, at face value, without a preconceived bias for finding errors – you will find it to be a coherent, consistent, and relatively easy-to-understand book. Yes, there are difficult passages. Yes, there are verses that appear to contradict each other. We must remember that the Bible was written by approximately 40 different authors over a period of around 1500 years. Each writer wrote from a different perspective, to a different audience, for a different purpose. We should expect some differences! However, a difference is not a contradiction or an error. It is only an error if there is absolutely no conceivable manner in which the verses or passages can be reconciled. Even if we do not have the answer right now, that does not mean the answer does not exist. Many have found a supposed error in the Bible in relation to history or geography only to find out that the Bible is correct once further archaeological evidence is discovered.

It depends on the person, what that person seeks, and the person's past experiences with religion or religious institutions. It's all about seeking God, or a sense of understanding themselves and the world....You're statement is not really altogether true...many people get converted to both islam and christianity. Some people convert to Buddhism, mysticism etc....some turn from religion altogether to agnosticism or atheism...and vice-versa.

Because Islam makes a lot more sense. I converted because I found answers to questions that confused me in Christianity. The Qu'ran has not changed, not even one dot since it originated. The Bible has been changed over and over...look at how many versions there are. Islam is the only religion I know of that agrees with science. I could go on and on but bottom line it's just more logical. I'm not trying to hate on Christians...just relating my personal experience.

Oh I think if we were being honest we'd be forced to acknowledge that a fair number of people convert to Christianity. Considering we've got millions of missionaries out there, there's got to be something keeping them all busy, wouldn't you think?

In fact, if we're talking "conversions" and not Islam's raw growth (which mostly comes from the fact that the birthrate in Islamic countries is very high), I suspect, to be honest, that Christianity's actually doing a fair bit better at conversion than Islam is. There are more missionaries for Christianity out there proselytizing, and they do a better job of it.

A good example of that is right here in Yahoo Answers. To be frank, Islamic proselytizing in this forum seems quite amateurish by the standards of even a garden variety Christian missionary. Muslim proselytizers often indulge in embarrassingly banal "used car salesmen" techniques like "there's lots of science in the Quran" (there isn't), or "we're the fastest growing religion" (you're not), or "the bible predicts Mohammed" (it doesn't.) Or sometimes they'll just give you that badly-written and amateurish Cat Stephens tract.

Christian witnesses tend to emphasize instead the charisms given by God - healing, spiritual wholeness, and compassion. People are desperate for compassion and healing in their lives, and Christian proselytizers tend to be better at giving it. Frankly, it is why they are so much better at gaining converts.

who would like to go to worship a man (prophet- Jesus) and think that that man loves him and taking care of him ?

and who would like to go to someone saying to him that God himself came down to earth and was beaten like hell ??????

and that happened to him for the sake of humans , because he is in love with them .. if so why the decease and suffering ? and if so why he created a terrible place called HELL ?

Islam tell you to worship God , the only one ... tell you to live simply , and abandon bad things , without anyone between you and God , even if he is a priest, nobody is sacred in Islam !

christianity at jesus time was true but after allah(god)raised him to sky because jewish at that time tried to kill him,his students wrote the bible, every one as how he undrstood it,so thats why they have many different bibles and every one is different, they said jesus crossed and killed, then they said he is GODs son, and he is the GOD himself, thats not true,he is a prophet pbuh as mohammad as another prophets pbuh, isalm admire all prophets and in islam who do not confess jesusu as prophes is athiest or any other prophet while christian do not confess mohammad pbuh, and jewish do not confess jesus, changes or modifications on holy quran did not happen,it is as downloaded from allah to prophet mohammad till now is the same, and islam concern every thing in our life from A to Z thats not available in christianity, thats why christians devoting to islam, take close look to islam you will find the truth,by the way did you ask yourself is the existing bible truly god's words?did you ask yourself how was jesus praying?you are crossing on your chest because jesus crossed did he crossed on his chest as you are doing now?how was his prayer?

Here we go with the Islam/Christian talk again. I don't know anyone who wants to convert to Islam. Well, not here in Northwestern United States (Cowboy Country). We are all Christians and have no need for Islam here.
