It depends on the culture.
If you are Asian : No.
If you are American : Maybe
But this is the 21st century. Home prices just went up 800% and is creeping down. It's crazy to rent or buy at the moment. If you feel bad, pay rent. Your parents are probably happy to know where you are and that you are eating well. If they get into a sticky situation, you are close and can lend a hand. Just think that it's giving back. They fed, clothed, love you for 25 years, now, it's time for your to take care of them, drive them somewhere, take them out for breakfast, talk to them, ask them for advice, help them set up technological stuff, help them mow the lawn, take out the trash, do the dishes. You are part of the family, why should it feel strange that you live there at ANY age?
Think about it.

I live in Australia and quite a few young people are moving back in with their parents, forking out over half your wage a week on rent alone is doing it. A guy at work moved back home so he and his girlfriend could save up enough money for a deposit on a house, if they have half a brain they wont move out until they really have to. But hey if their happy being broke all the time go for it.

Ok, it's understandable, but not desireable. It depends on what level of education you're persuing. If you're still working on your AA, then yea, that would be kinda embrassing. If you're working on your BS or masters, its a little more understandable. However, if you want to get any action, I would move out, no self respecting person (who is worth getting into a relationship with) would be caught dead sleeping with you at your parents house.

Not at all, many young adults live with their parents to later ages these days. So long as you make the most of living cheaply and save save save so when you do move out you can buy property, be self sufficient etc. Make the most of the opportunities that can arise from not having to fork out for all the bills the rest of the world does.

Even if you are working and have a girl/boyfriend, it's not embrassing to live with your parents as they get older and lonelier. (but this depends on your relationship with your parents) Well the drawback is your girl/boyfriend might feel weird...so you'll have to compromise, and if you are not too selfish, you should always try to live with your parents when it's getting harder for them to take care of themselves. Who doesn't like to have a big happy family?

No, have you seen the movie Failue To Launch? It's about a rich guy who never wants to leave his parents house, and when he gets married he wants his wife to move in. Funny stuff.
I wish I didn't have to leave home so my mom could everything for me.

Normally that would be embarassing, but if you have a reasonable explanation. ie: u got into accident, cant work. I'd be embarassed still living at home at that age.
