When the stain occurs, immediately apply salt on the stain. Then wash as regular laundry, even the next day. The stain will not "stick".

I had a red wine stain that was still wet and I poured salt on it and let it sit, it came right out.

stainstick look for it at your local walmart , used it on many a wine stain, red , blush, white , etc. worked on all ,the secret is let it set over nite after you treat it , works on clothes , tableclothes, if its washable it works. if set in or dryed in the dryer before you noticed may take two to three treatments but it WILL get it out , its by shout.

carbonated (selzer water)
I have used "tide" bleach pens as well.

Good luck.

Just don't put it into the "dryer" - the HEAT will set the stain, you can work on it each time. The Dry cleaner will apply heat as well, so if it comes back with a stain still- its trash. Sorry.

if you have a red wine stain pour white wine over it.

I have no idea about the science behind it but it works....

Wine comes out with white vinegar. I heard salt but white vinegar dilutes it then wash it immediately in cold water.
