Linda, I'm not trying to prove anything. My church put up these videos and I wanted to share them. I am also interested in finding out what other believers do in their churches. Different churches do things in different ways, it is good to learn from each other.

Charles, "Better to light a candle than curse the dark." Yeah, its a bad, sad world out there. That's why some of us are doing something about it. And yes, loads of my friends are "Glad to be Christian," because our lives before becoming Christian were, shall we say, not nice. We know what we have come from and are very glad not to be where we are now.

Yes i am soo happy being a christian.
Our church is so lively. It has lots of youth events to help teenagers come to god. We have free comunity meals and shower for the homeless. We help another church in a poorer country. I love my church. the fellowship is amzing.
But most importantly i love god and jesus

I was not able to open the links but I did visit the official website for the Jesus Army and I could not find anything on it to help me answer your question...Are you glad to be a Christian. You see, I could not find anything there that tells how to become a Christian. This should be the most important part of any Christian website. In contrast, I have a website that deals with abuse but there is a link on EACH of over 850 pages to "How to have eternal life" It is at the top of each page because it does not matter if we can help everyone move from a victim to a survivor if they do not know the LORD....for what does it profit a man if he should gain the whole world but lose his soul.
If you do not know for sure that you have eternal life..check the link below....you will not find it on the Jesus Army website.

Actually though I am a christian (Anglican) the bloody fundamentalist blokes and their irrational "glad to be a christian" crap, combined with a political agenda that could lead to fascism is enough to make me throw up violently down into one of their choir lofts.
And to be honest, how can one be a "happy Christian" when the world is in such a state misery.
Nut ministers filling people's heads with hatred, stupid delusions, and other codswollop! And they stupidly believe the crap. And a hearty measure are mean, nasty, small minded and very unlovely people!
So it is enough to keep athiest laughing, and to make any rational being want to relieve a stomach full.
So I am NOT "glad to be a Christan" if I have to be counted with the worst of the Christain world!

WE FEED THE HUNGRY,CLOTH THE NAKED,SHELTER THE HOMELESS,VISIT THE SICK.
ALL THE THINGS JESUS TOLD THE CHURCH TO DO.

we dance naked around a bonfire and play music and praise the gods durring the full moon..but at least we are not killing anyone
