Yes. Just as long as you ask for forgiveness and still have faith in Him.

Just pray that you can stop your "evil" ways

To ask forgiveness is NOT the same as repentance from sins...you need to discover the difference!
If you really want your life to be DIFFERENT, in a way that you do NOT go back to that "evil lifestyle" then YOU must be the one that takes the first step..the right step..of repentance & of seeking the Lord your God with ALL your mind, heart, body, spirit & soul! Find a body of Bible-believing Christians to help you to be an OVERCOMER...rather than a "slider"...May the Lord truly bless your HONEST endevor!

You can lie to people all you want but you can't fool God, ever. When you ask Jesus to forgive you and save you, you must be in earnest, not just asking casually or as a ritual formality. You must make Him your LORD--that means from now on He's the boss! If you were sincere before, I don't think you would've turned away from Him so completely, so many times. Plus, you sound like you're proud of your failures. Therefore I think you're full of beans.

If you are truly repentive.

By the way 70 times 7 is how many times we are to forgive a fellow being - and even that number was to illustrate God's unlimited forgiveness. For God has forgiven us far more than we could ever forgive someone.

1JN 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

His love and forgiveness know no bounds. If you are truly repentant He will forgive you. If you ask forgiveness knowing in your heart you are planning on committing the same sin again and again then your remorse is not sincere and He will not honor that. What did Jesus tell the adulterous Samaratin woman at the well? After He told her of all her sins and forgave her he told her "go and SIN NO MORE." That is what you must do. Ask God for the strength to do it. He will give it to you.

You know right from wrong, and it sounds like you just say you're sorry with the intention of doing the same things over again.
That is like asking permission to go on doing what you know is wrong. It's not going to happen.
Above, Maranatha said it. Being sorry and repentance are two different things.
Following your conscience is a start.

Ask anyone who has struggled with their faith, how many times did they give up their lives to God, then take back bits and pieces. No one can be a perfect follower of God. It takes a lot of prayer and a lot of letting go of control, which is the hardest thing. God doesnt work fast enough for our minds. Or we deny the things God wants us to let go.

Maybe you should try getting attention somewhere else after asking a hundred of times.

if you believe in the lord and his word, and you ask for forgivness and repent even at the very last moment of your life, even with your very last breathe,if you're truly sincere, are sorry for your wrongs and wish only for the will of the lord to be done NO MATTER WHAT THAT IS...the word of christ teaches only unconditional love and forgivness and that only god can judge you.im a staunch christian, and i hav a foul mouth and a bad substance abuse habit,a felony, all kinds of bad marks.but i try,i strive to carry out his will for me everyday and i fail, still i beleive i will go to heaven.

The only person who can save you is yourself. We're all responsible for our own fates.
If you realize that your lifestyle is evil, why don't you get help for it?
