Where were you in life when you were saved?

I was on a road to everlasting hate for myself and everyone around me, drinking and smoking marijuana to solve problems, and about to make the worse mistake of my life by cheating on my husband....

What about you? Where were you when God pulled you out of darkness? Or have you always lived a saved life?

I was a really good sinner, I worked very hard at it. Then both my husband and I began to have a lot of supernatural things happen to us. God was calling us to Him. And we accepted Christ. As for myself I was cynical, hard-hearted (I never cried). I wanted to believe when I watched something on the Christian channel on TV, but thought that I was too evil. Then Jesus came into my life and everything has changed and even though I may go though some bad times, He is always with me and I am never alone. I am now filled with hope because I now have a solid future that is built on the Rock of Christ Jesus. And I know that I know that I know WHERE I'm going to spend eternity, To those who are reading this and who don't know Jesus, search for Him and you will find Him, Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. God Bless You!

I was in the valley of unforgiveness to an extent that I did not forgive myself and developed a bad attitude toward God, my Family and myself so God saved when I was just about to poison myself.I have lived a saved life thats why I'm alive today.

When I was 4 years old I had a vision of Christ. He told me about his painful separation and plans for future rapture. He said we would be married one day. I begged him not to leave, but he promised he would return. I had forgotten about this vision because when I spoke of It I was made fun of and humiliated. I lived a life of ignorant sin. When I was 30 The memory returned through deep prayer while pleading for peace of mind from this cruel world. I was devastated when I realized I committed all that sin despite his promise. I know it was meant to be, I know he will forgive me, but how can I forgive myself.

im 16, my family was falling apart, with 2 dying sibblings and anerexia for myself. i started drinking, the drug thing, and the sex thing. not a smart idea. i turned to the booze instead of healthy relationships. i almost gave up trying. but one day, (i had a really bad hang over that day by the way) i just woke up, and decided, i only have one life, i better make it worth living. cus if i don't, i might as well just kill myself and get it over with. god turned a light on in my brain that im a person who deserves to live!!

the end!!

I was very blessed to be raised in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. However as I grew I turned away from God.. when I was in the military I got into drugs drinking..... you name it.... I re-dedicated my life to Christ when i was 22 years old. And have not strayed from him since.
I have failed to be the man he made me to be.... but he has never failed to be the loving Lord he promised me he would be :)

I was trying to find God in my own comfort. I saw him as a satisfactory tool, to conform him to the religion I saw fit to have.

I always say God saved me from myself. I thought I had it all under control. My way was the best way. Well, I ended up depressed, suicidal, angry, anxious, fearful, obsessive/compulsive, pothead, bar fly, bitter, resentful and on and on....
Now, I am happy, joy full, peace-full, sober, motivated, ambitious, loving, and on and on
