My husband is a bodybuilder and does not take creatine he uses whey protein. After much research, he decided creatine was a bad idea, he did take it for awhile. Your progress sounds ok to me but like I said my husband body builds and does tons of research on the subject. Feel free to e-mail me and I can have my husband answer your questions if you like he has lots of info and loves to share his knowledge.

Yes, you can take creatine. It works great, I have been taking it for about 6 months now, and am still on it. Basically it keeps your muscles hydrated. Just make sure when you take it, you drink alot of water, espically when you are in the load phase. After that just take about 5 grams daily. Creatine is not bad or anything, as "cooldude" said. And, no it is not like steroids at all, because it does not mess with your hormones in any way. It does not even come close to being a steroid. Go ahead and research it and you can even go on bodybuilding.com in the forums and read some post people have talked about it.

each and every physique is misunderstood what creatine does...it particularly is no longer a "lesser" version of steroids. It purely enables technique the fluids and water during your gadget and muscle tissue, bulks you up somewhat greater, which permits you elevate heavier weights to benefit the forged muscle. wish that sheds some gentle. it particularly is no longer undesirable in case you do not have too lots. it particularly is rather useful to ask a doctor what volume is sweet for you, no longer each and every physique is the comparable.
