Don't eat.

Seriously, I've found that Jenny Craig is a fantastic program and has worked well for me. The food is great. And no, I do not work for Jenny.

Other considerations include seaching the internet for diet plans that work or don't work. It's all boils down to your motivation and willingness to lose weight.

There are other benefits that comes with weight lose for many people. Self- esteem is raised. Self-image improves. Living with self may become more comfortable.

However, I would also like to add, that in the final analysis:
You are not your body. You are a spiritual being temporaily housed inside a human body. The development of the spirit is far more important than the body. But it's also important to become comfortable in the temporary housing too!

Good luck.

You are slightly overweight. You should be concerned but not startled. 10lbs you could lose to be within a good health range and still have some junk in the trunk. You could walk that off in a few weeks. Try to get 3 or 4 miles out of every week. Replace fatty snacks with fruits and salads. Worked for my sis. Who is about your height and was slightly bigger than you. Whatever you do, good luck!

You should consider eating better and exercising. Don't do any of the crazy diets that make you go hungry because they only help in the short term. Try eating lot's of natural foods like fruit, veggies, yogurt, cottage cheese and less fatty foods. Walking, jogging, swimming, whatever you find that works for you. Stay away from deserts, sodas and breads at meal time and drink at least 8 cups of water per day.

that is NOT fat. if you're really 5'9 that's exactly where you should be. see a doctor or health clinic to get your BMI checked and you will be told the same thing.
