Wow it seems the religious people are angry and the evolutionist are open to discussing this with you. I don't believe in the church, God, angels, the devil and all the other stuff. I think the Church has become a money monster and a haven for pedophiles (I take this from the news by the way it seems to be a chronic problem with the Church). I do believe we evolved, and the reason i do is because there are so many different variations of man. I also think we are still evolving today. Notice how many of us have impacted wisdom teeth? Well our diets have changed so we don't need them any longer, we still have remnants of a tail called the coxxics. We have an appendix that we do not use any longer. On and on. as for believing in fate, well again i don't. I think this is a lazy persons answer. I think too that the idea of Fate was designed by the Church to keep the masses in control, if they needed to have faith and felt there lot was one of fate then people don't rise up and take the power away from the church.
It is an easy thing to do to say well if it was meant to be God would have provided it. I think this is lazy. If you want some thing you work hard for it, nothing is given to you. You have to toil to get it. hard work build character and strength of mind and body, fate heck fate keeps you lazy.

I think that athiests believe that they make their own luck. I'm personally agnostic, because I believe there is one God, but it's the same God in every religion, just interpreted in different ways. To my knowledge there is no specific religion which believes the same way.
I also believe in creationism, and that evolution was a part of that (who says the "7 days" wasn't long enough for evolution?)
I stick with the athiest belief on luck. I don't think that "God" really has a hand in everything. I'd like to think my free will gives me the right to make choices, and the good things that come of them are simply a result. However, you could argue that since "God" is omnipotent, that he already knows the choices I'll make, but does that mean that he controls what I do? I just don't know.
Ok, sorry, I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, but it was fun to write :)

There are no bad questions, except those for which real answers are not wanted (and this not not refer to rhetorical questions). Even if this question is poorly worded, you can learn from corrections.
1) Atheism and evolution have nothing to do with each other.
2) Shouldn't you ask if atheists believe in fate before you ask them where it came from?

I don't believe in fate.
Granted, there are somethings outside of my control (meaning their in someone else's), but for the most part, the things that go right, are that way because I took an active part in making it so (or another human did). The things that go wrong, I didn't work at enough, (or another human was involved).
There is some random chance thrown in, but that's all it is.

Yeah I heard approximately this in Biology that they have got been the 1st to bury their lifeless. even though, they believed in many gods. A philosophy that only approximately all religions reject on the instant. At this element, brains have been only now sufficiently enormous to the place people had a feeling of worry of death somewhat then survival instinct. at a similar time as I cant say for particular no depend if or not their is a god, i could challenge to wager that neanderthals created god to regulate there new stumbled on worry of death

There is no "fate". Everything that happens in life is based on several factors, most prominently your own actions and the actions of those around you. No coincidence.

I have a scientific mind and believe in evolution, but something created life in this universe, call it what you want.
