They were tame before Adam and Eve sinned. Before Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, there was no conflict, no death, no eating of meat. There was no such thing as a wild animal. Only after sin, death, and decay was released into the world did the animals become dangerous/wild.

No, I do not think animals go to heaven. It's not a matter of intelligence--although humans are far more intelligent than animals, it's been found that dolphins, monkeys/apes, and (recently) elephants are somewhat intelligent. What separates animals from humans is the fact that we have spirits and they do not. You need a spirit to go to heaven, because it is a spiritual realm. Not forever, though--there will be a physical element to heaven after Jesus' Second Coming. Meaning, there will be animals in eternity when heaven literally comes to earth.

Yes...we are not going to be sitting on clouds strumming harps...several times throughout the Bible it talks about how G-d plans to make things like the Garden of Eden again. Mainly, that means that G-d will dwell with humans again and be with them face-to-face like He was in Eden. In addition, that means that the animals won't be wild any more. Heck, we might even see dinosaurs and stuff again; I don't know.
