I LET MY DOG GO IN MY BACKYARD NEXT THING I KNOW HES CHASING A POSOM AROUND AND JUST KILLES IT THERE WAS A LITLE BLOOD FROM THE POSOM I WASHED IT OUT RIGHT AWAY BUT WILL MY DOG BE OK HE HAS ALL HIS RECENT SHOTS

He should be ok if he's up to date on vaccinations. Make sure you look him over, thoroughly, for wounds. If you find any, clean them with soap and water. You can use Neosporin on them. Make sure to have them checked by your vet in case they need stitches or bandaging.

W.T.H? your dogs has a aspect on his head and there develop into alot of blood yet its no longer too undesirable???? that is why i imagine each and every man or woman must be inspected till now possessing a puppy. supply me a spoil. Take your damaging dogs to the vet and then supply up rites to him. possibly he will have a shot at a better effective existence. extra::: in case your vet stated that's nice hit upon a sparkling vet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything will be fine. You did good. I also hunt with my dog and she rips into coons,and other small rodents. As long as all the shots are up to date I wouldn't worry.

If it was an Australian possom, they have a lot of bacteria on their claws, so you should see if he got any scratches and treat them with an appropriate antiseptic (one that won't hurt the dog if he licks it). You should keep an eye on the scratches and if they get red, swollen and oozy, take him to the vets for antibiotics.

Was your dog bit? Has been vaccinated for Rabies?
Your dog should be fine, but i think it would be wise to have the animal go to the vet, and he can tel you if you need to do anything more.
