Do you think that there is such thing as soulmates -or- that you could make it work with anyone?

Well about 9 months ago I thought the whole "soul-mate" idea of attraction was total nonsense. But now.....now that I have found her, my mind was proven wrong and corrected by her beauty. I am staying with her for the remainder of my life and I would DIE for her!

To answer that with all honesty, Noooooo, there are many people out there that we could be very happy with, and completely fulfilled.... The trick is, being in the right place at the right time. And if were lucky to cross paths with that person who you felt you've knew all your life, well you better hang on to that one, because yes, that could feel like your soul mate, but is it really? or did you just get lucky???
In my opinion, don't look for that person who you want as a soul mate. To me, there is something about the mind set of looking for something, it changes your ideas and your willling to settle for something that is what we think is close, we don't get a chance t see everything clearly.
As for myself, I am not willing to settle, I am just enjoying life, and when the time comes and I am ready, it will happen, and it may surprise you who it is.
I don't believe we are like two doves on the power line, and only have one soul mate, do you have any idea what the odds of getting together would be if that was the case????
My advice, stop looking, have fun, and make as many friends as possible.... Look for true colors, and like someone once said, when you get a 20 in black jack, don't go for the ace in the hole.

but how close are we willing to settle for what we want????

Yes, there is a soulmate for everyone. When you meet him you will know it within the first few moments. From the body chemistry to your privite thoughts, you'll find that you both share the same heart, feelings and passion...that same passion that your past mates may have thought was crazy, your soulmate thinks just like you...as soon as you find yourself, you'll find your mate!

You cannot make it work with just anyone. Marriage needs that spark of true love to keep it going.
I married someone who was not my soul mate and we couldn't keep things going after 20 years. We gave up and divorced. Now I am with someone who is true my soul mate. We love each other so much that I now realize my first marriage had no chance - we didn't love each other enough to keep it going.

i used to think there was one person for eveyone. i don't feel that way anmore. i thionk there are alot of possiblities and the chips will fall where they fall
