I think that they are people that have their own specific reasons for not following after any particular god, or religion, or belief. Possibly many are just searchers? Some are skeptics? Some maybe are just filled with hate for one reason or another & just declare non-belief?..the reasons for being an atheist are as varied as there are people's opinions. Personally I choose to believe in the Word of God, (Bible) & like Albert Einstein who was an atheist...and became a deist (believer in God) when he found a reason through knowledge; to believe!

Atheists are people who choose logic and their own reasoning to decide how humans have come to be. Some respect believers, some think they are weak minded. Some are black, some are white. Some are rich, some are poor. They all believe in creation from something exploding. What that was or what caused it, do they know?

I do not have an opinion on Atheists because I do not know them all personally. it's not fair for me to judge someone based on one little thing I know about them.
It doesn't matter to me what faith (or lack thereof) someone has as long as it does not cause friction or negativity between that person and me or others. I am not an Atheist--I just cannot believe that there is no greater power to have created us. However, I do not think any better or worse of people who can and do.

Some seem to be good people and seem to have good intentions ; I just can't stand people who don't accept anything that science cannot prove or is not written in some journal by some professor but other than that I think no less or better of them than anyone else

I love them!
I've made some wonderful friends on Y!A that are Atheist and I've fallen in love with an Atheist. I'd say, all around GREAT people!

My boyfriend is an Atheist. Most are nice people. I find them easier to talk with and reason with than a lot of Christians.

It was God's intent for everyone to have free-will, if they don't believe than I don't think bad of them for not believing what I believe, I can only hope that they find the truth....
