first let me say this. my mom is light-skinned...she's 3/5 black and the rest is chinese, white, and indian. her hair is kinda curly. my dad is dark-skinned 100% black with kinky hair. so my hair was like 50% kinky. and my complexion was kinda dark brown. now i realized that my hair is like getting curlier, longer, and wavy at the roots and growing out that way and my complexion is now a carmel brown. and ppl say i look like my mom, but i used to look like my dad. is it possible for me to getting gene alterations or something.

People change over time. This can be pre-determined by genetics. For example, I was born very light. I am now much darker.

I think it's the same as how most little girls have blonde hair, then it turns darker. It's just a part of your aging process.

It's mandatory that a persons look changes after some time.Even i first looked just like my father but now i look alot like my mother.It's nothing special or somethin'.

hormones....they change everything at various key points in your life. Puberty, early twenties, late twenties to early thirties and then menopause.
