This is a simple question. I talked to my man the other night he says that he doesn't have to say I love you all that much in order to love me. Do you think thats a sign that he doesn't really love me.

He's right. You don't have to say it in order to feel it. However, you should tell him that hearing him say this helps you to feel loved, and that it is something you need to hear. He needs to understand that while he doesn't need to say it, you still need to hear it. He should be able to fulfill his need, it really is not asking so much.

The worst thing you can do, is be insecure. If you think he has proven to you with his actions, that he loves you, then he's probably right, he doesn't have to. My boyfriend doesn't say it every single day, but I know it by the way he looks at me and I can tell by the gentle way he treats me. See? Actions sometimes can go farther than words. =)

"i love you" is over rated anyway, my 15yr old brother thinks he's in love and says it to his girlfriend a million times a day. the most important thing is action not words especially in relationships
he loves you and he's right it should be saved for special moments. but if he never ever says it...then you have a problem

i think u might be expecting too much out of yr relationship.... trust me men are NOT AT ALL emotional .... they don sit and think like females do.... thry have very less or no feelings..... they think from their brain not from their heart.... dont hold on to him too much... give him his own space... he needs it.... love is like a bird if u hold it tight itll die n if u dont itll fly.... so just let it be just right and u see the miricles of love n ull appreciate him more...

Maybe your relationship is getting dull for both of you. You should do something exciting and/or fun/romantic. this ought to sharpen up your relation. If he refuses to do something fun, try to get him to. If he's completely serious about not wanting to, he might not like you anymore.

it says he is putting a limit on saying i love you. the same thing happened to me and it sucks. i never said i love you to that guy again.

Consider his actions in the relationship. Then ask yourself, do you think his actions in the relationship show he cares about you.
