There is a woman who works at a place I go to everyother day. Occasionally, I see her working there. About 8months ago, I saw her working and approached her once and said a few things. I rarely see her there and whenever I do she is always busy. Last week, I introduced myself to her and asked for her phone number. She said she was engaged and I immediately left after that... She passed by me the other day and she wanted to talk to me. I would not talk to her because she said she is engaged. What's up with that?
I am not a womanizer and I am honest.
Do most women not give out their phone numbers after a brief conversation. Just curious..

they dont and if she wanted to talk to you then talk to her cuz you never know maybe shes with the wrong guy and your the right guy for her.or maybe she just looked at you cuz she thought you were weird.lol J/P

Have you even considered the possibility of making a friend? Does it always have to be about a relationship or sex? Just because she is engaged does not mean that she is not a person with feelings. How do you think she is feeling now that you have "blown her off", simply because she is engaged?
Some women use that "engaged statement" as a safety mechanism and some women really are engaged. Until you talk to them and treat them as a person, you will never know. This is just my opinion, but with what you have said in your question, you are almost as bad as a womanizer. Women are people too!!!

well, some do and some dont. if she did give it to u after just a few words, that usually tends to be a bad thing (their easy). if u see a person and u take a shine to them, and u see them walking down the street, have small conversations frequently at different places and different times, if u 2 keep crossing paths, fait awaits!! then go for it. good luck

Well yeah, i would like to get to know you a little bit before i give you my number. mabye if you have a myspace or she does you could become friends easier through that first. I think when she saw you again and wanted to talk she was being friendly cuz she knows you like her. But don't read into it too much, like i said she's probably being nice cuz she feels bad cuz you can't have her but you never know mabye she is with a jerk.

first of all if she wants to talk to you then talk to her, she probably told you she was engaged because she didnt know what else to do, alot of women use that line when they dont know what else to do or feel intimidated. unless you see a ring on her finger, go ahead and talk to her...maybe she wants to see what your about?? but I would seriously take her up on the convo.
