Diets are crap, unless it's only 2 lbs. You shouldn't change your diet; you should change your lifestyle. And here's why.
Your body isn't made to lose a lot of weight quickly. It will take awhile, and you will think it takes forever, but the safest and healthiest way to loose weight is to take a really, really good look at your diet (meaning the foods you eat) and chuck the fast food, high-fat-content dairy (no whole milk, 2% is pushing it), and sugary carbs (white bread). And keep it permanent. Slipping up once in awhile is okay, and you don't have to do it all at once. You need a heathy lifestyle, not a few weeks/months of depriving your body of the crap you normally eat. You'll want to dive back into it asap, which will just screw with your body.
If you already eat healthy, with the whole-wheat and nonfat dairy and fridge full of veggies/fruits to match, then exercise.

Seriously, this is as easy as it gets. Forget counting points, forget not eating carbs. Try this: when you eat, before you take a portion, think about how much you would normally take, and take 3/4 of that. Excersize more. Weight is a relation of energy intake and output. If you intake more than you put out, you gain. If you output more than you intake, you lose weight. Also, try eating six to eight small meals a day rather than two or three big ones. This will help you to feel satisfied longer during the day, and decrease your intake.

I love Herbalife. I lost 75 pounds on it almost effortlessly. It's all herbal nutrients and supplements. You have 2 yummy protein filled shakes a day you can choose in many flavors and then you eat a good meal. You can choose low carb or regular - I was losing a healthy 3-4 pounds a week on the low carb and getting to eat buffalo wings and bacon!!! Good for you for wanting to get a new healthy start on life - if you like I can give you my herbalife distributor, she will call you weekly to follow up and make sure you're staying on track and is available 24/7 for any questions you may have. you can email me at jzny@aol.com if you would like more info

If you wanna see my before and after pic here http://www.healthandstrength.net I lost 54 lbs and can help you if you want.
Here is what I did AND STILL DO every day to stay healthy and slim
1. NEVER EVER ate sugar. It's a poison that makes us older, sicker, fatter and tired...all things we dont want. Seriously, sugar is the one who does the dirty work in weight gain. Stop eating it all together. You can see my list of ingredients to avoid when shopping here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweeka.htm...
2. Drink ALOT of water. 2-3 liters a day. The more the merrier! We need about half our body weight in ounces JUST for regular body functions! When you feel thirsty, that means you are already dehydrated and lose brain function. Water flushes toxins from your fat cells and keeps you younger.
3. Exercise!!! So very important. Here http://www.healthandstrength.net/abexe.htm... are my favorite ab exercises. I also do cardio 4-5 days a week for about 30 minutes a time.
4. Eat less. How many calories do you think is in that burger or that plate of fries or in that handful of chips. What about overfilling our plates? If you go here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweek.htm... I wrote something about saving on calories and losing weight.
5. Go to sleep before 10pm. Your body starts repairing and rebuilding and speeding up weight loss while you sleep only if you sleep at about 10pm. If you are awake and go to bed at 12, you miss out on that very important time. I have a good article on my site here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweekb.htm that talks about the importance of sleep and how STRESS can make actually make you fatter.
6. BE POSITIVE. Be thankful every day and love yourself
7. BE CONSISTANT! That I think is the KEY to losing weight. So what if you went a week and only lost a pound...or didnt lose any...KEEP going. DON'T stop. This is a lifelong commitment, so stick to it and one day you will open your eyes and need a new wardrobe!
8. Eat more veggies and skinny friendly foods. I have my list of my top ten foods that I ate to lost weight here http://www.healthandstrength.net/tenfoods.htm...
80% veggies at every meal including breakfast will keep you young and help you lose weight.
9. Do the little things that count! Check out 10 cool ideas that you can do to help boost your calorie burn throught the day here: http://www.healthandstrength.net/tips.htm
Good luck and don't forget that YOU are the only one who decides what foods enter your body and how long you sit around. Make the change, take the chance and give yourself time! You can do it. I know you can!

this diet cost nothing but willpower.its hard to get use to,but it's not so bad after about two weeks.--the good theng about this diet,is that you eat what you want, the weight comes off slow, but if you keep it up, you will be glad, and feel good to.--here goes--15 minutes befor you know you are going eat, stop drinking anytheng. eat your entire meal without drinking, and then wait 1 hour to take a drink of anytheng. after that hour is up, and all in betwene meals, drink water like it's going out of style.lots&lots of water ----"not"soda" not beer. not koolaid! water--water--water--you will be proud you did.
