It depends on the situation. If he's too shy, like the guy I met at work, and we are successfully dating. And plan to get married. He was too shy too ask me so I asked him. We stared out as friends, now we're beyond that. I'm glad I did. You never know what might have been if you wait for him.

get to become good friends with him, and make sure that the chemistry is there, and its a shared attraction. if so, just hint at the fact that u enjoy his company or 'you think he's a cool guy' and maybe if ur are of age u can go grab a drink sometime.. or if not ask if hes seen a new movie thats out and thats that. dont be scared just go for it girl. men digg confidence.

You may not want to do that. Usually if you work with someone and you go out with them and it doesn't work out you usually have problems with them at work. My first husband and I met at work. Because of bad choices we made even though we didn't work together when we got married it didn't work out My second husband and I met at work but didn't start a relationship until about 2 year later. We weren't working together at the time. I did date a person who was my assistant manager at a place where I worked. When our relationship didn't work out he was still my assitant manager and it caused a lot of problems because he treated me bad because our relationship didn't work out. He couldn't keep our bad relationship seperate from work. Don't do it!!

Life is too short go for it. You can always change jobs if things get to wierd. Who knows though many people meet and fall in love in the work place. You can always transfer.

It's not healthy to date a guy you work with, if it doesn't work out you'll both feel awkward and you might have to go job hunting. I wouldn't do it.

office romances are a bad idea. however if u must the best way is to throw a little party and invite him. if he goes it might mean he's a little interested. and then you could probably ask him at the party

employment and dating between co-workers can at times be frowned on be careful if boss don't like that kind of 'stuff' it could lead to trouble
