I am not so much afraid to die as I want to be sure I get to do what I set out to do here. I would really be upset to have the experience be cut short. I also hope that I die in such a way that is short on pain and agony.
After I die, I am pretty sure that I will return to the source (whatever that might be) and go on to do other things, but I also know that I will never have another opportunity to have this life. There are no second takes or replays - so I want as much time as I can to get this first run just right, you know?
Peace!

NO, I sort of agree with PinkGirl . When I was a sperm I was alive. I had food . Could move around. Had many sperm friends, mostly relatives. Then one day I died ,or what I like to call it, rotated, after smashing into the wall of an egg of some kind. Loosing my sperm body. I was transformed into an embryo. Then from there It was it was a fetus that I ended up as. Then as nature would have it . I grew into a human, So I figure one day when Mother Nature and Father Sky is done with my body, then again I will be transformed into what ever mother nature has in store for me . And as Pink girl thinks ,that next step will be just as great if not greater then the last one. And I won't ever remember being a human. Just as I don't remember being a sperm, fetus ,or embryo. Isn't Mother Nature grand. See you in the fourth dimension. gods a joke and jesus the puch line, but you can't fool Mother nature.

Afraid of death? Not really. I know it will happen to us all, and I am actually at peace with the fact that I have no control over when I will die. So why worry about it, as long as I know that I've done my best to follow my set of beliefs, (ia)? I am not in love with this life. I believe there is a better life waiting after I leave this one, (ia). This is what I am truly hoping for, any way.

the thought scares me more than anything else, although I don't know why. I like to believe in God, but it seems that making the shift from the sure world i am in now to the hypothetical spiritual realm, with a 50% chance of ending up on the wrong end of the the spiritual realm is a little overwhelming. O well, death will come, and there is nothing any of us can do, so i might as well make the most of my life while i am still here.

No.
"we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8
So once this mortal body dies I know I will be present with the Lord.
Sorry that you have doubts, Hope that you come to a saving Faith in Jesus before you die.

if you are sure where u'll go after death, then u won't have to be afraid. there was this missionery on a plane. hlf way thru the flight, there was a great turbulence. Everyone was very scared. however. this person remained calm. somebody asked him why and he answered," if the plane were to crash, then i'll die and be in heaven with god today. how wonderful that would be. but if we were to survive this, then i can go home and see my family again. that would be a blessing too." Hope this story inspires u to find out more about life after death.

Personally, no I am not afraid of death, I have already passed from death to life....with no fear of the 2nd death. Perfect love drives out fear. To have a true relationship with Jesus Christ, will remove all those "doubts" that you may be feeling...take a chance & discover what wonders await you when you seek & find the TRUTH of God's Word!

I wouldn't be afraid to die, but I don't like pain. If I'm in bad pain before I die, make sure they give me lots of drugs.
Yeah, I'm not ready for any of that right now. I don't want to die in an accident, so I stay away from them. Ditto bombings, natural disasters, etc. Avoiding all that stuff. Just let me go naturally.
And when I die
and when I'm dead, dead and gone
there'll be one child born, ah in our world just ta carry on
Carry on, yeah.

I am not scared to die because Jesus lives in me and I live in Him. Absent from the body is present with God..When we die our spirit leaves our body and the body goes back to dirt, then the spirit goes to heaven or hell. Cry out to God and get to know Him..Sin separates us from God. If you have The Holy Ghost living inside of you, you will not sin. He leads you..That is why He calls it being born again. You are born in the spirit. You are spirit. What you can't see is more real than what you do see because it is eternal,it will always be. A spirit can not die. It lives forever. If you have God you have nothing to fear. You can get born again and get the Holy Ghost all by yourself in your room. Just you and God..It is very hard to find a preacher now that knows the truth..
