Man, I've gone through periods where I've felt this way! I mean I could have written this! You may be suffering from depression. If so, tell your doctor about your feelings and he may be able to give you some relief with medication. But, honestly I can still have emotional down times like this even on medication. (Just not as frequently) Look, you're not a failure! You are just going through a bad spell. I know you might be thinking--you don't even know me. How do you know? Because if you really were a failure you wouldn't care. It wouldn't so important to you that it would bother you. You are probably the creative type, maybe ADHD--they are the type that can only be taken in small doses. I'm that way too. Get some sleep, pamper yourself, and then see your doctor.

What happened to you that made you take this turn?
Who told you by words or actions that you are not worthy?
I believe that there was probably a moment or a serious of instances where you took a turn for the worst.
Think about it...Now challenge it...Is it true?
Is it true that you are a failure?
NO!
You only fail if you stop trying...don't give up on yourself sweets!
You were made to do great things!
You are a daughter of the most High God!
You can do all things through Christ!
Please don't disregard what I'm saying because it sounds preachy...
It is the plain and simple truth...God did not have time to make a nobody. YOU ARE SOMEBODY!
YOU MATTER!
Go serve someone tomorrow and I PROMISE you will feel better about your existence!

Im sometimes wonder if Christopher Columbus felt like a failure when he didnt make it to the real India.
We all have our strengths and weaknesses. I play music on the side - Ive played from bookstores to clubs to casino. Am I a failure for not winning a Grammy or two? That would be not too bright of me to think that, wouldnt it?
Find something that is fun for you to do. Do volunteer work somewhere. Force yourself to smile as much as you can (it drives people nuts trying to figure out why things are going so well for you because youre smiling all the time)
Dont worry about what you cant do but focus on what you CAN DO. I wonder if Beethoven felt like a failure because he went deaf and didnt win a Grammy or two.
I hope that helps.

You don't say how old you are, but I got the feeling that you are young. My goodness, how lucky you are to be young!!! You are in a rut. And what a lot of people don't seem to understand is that everything you need to make your life better is right there inside of you. Maybe you are depressed, maybe you are just lazy. You talk about hating being single. How silly is that!!! You do not need a man/partner/woman to feel good. All you need to do is tap your own strengths - they are there just waiting to help you. The person you see in the mirror every morning is your best friend if you will only allow it. Good luck!!!

What I did was to get my own routine going. Helped family and got F**ked. Seems some people want things but lack initiative.
Start doing for yourself. Get into a routine you like. Maybe have some exercise in it to help relieve tension and burn some energy. Even meet new people.
Also, think about where your life is going. Chances are, when you become comfortable with your life, everything will fall into place. Sometimes, accept things that are what they are. It takes time to change things.
You're young, be patient and give things time.

I have read your previous questions and answers and i believe you are not happy with your looks/weight. I think addressing that problem will help with allt he other stuff that keeps bubbling up. Let's face it, if we feel bad about the way we present ourselves, nothing feels right, it is like wearing tight pants all day. You just can't wait to take them off, get in sweats and hide out. I think I have made a break through for you. I hope the best for you, feeling bad must be a nightmare.

Please read from someone who has felt just like you:
I know what it is to be a falure... I mess up in school, I mess up all the time with regards to relationship...
Sometimes I have hated myself because I saw no way out, I looked at myself as worthless....
But I have a Father.... His name is God...
I have a friend, His name is Christ....
I have a comforter... His name is the Holy Spirit...
I am not crazy... He is strong for me when I am weak, He helps me... He sees me as His child worthy of love.... He forgives me. he helps me change into a better person.
He loves me....
do you know Him?... you can....
Christ is the answer you seek.....
no- not religion...... but relationship with God.
Christ is the way.... will you accept Him?
He is waiting for you with open arms....
it is your choice.
God bless you and yours.

Get a hobby( knitting for example) . And when you finish making something nice with that hobby, you'll feel alot better about yourself. And it will take your mind off of those thoughts and pass the time.
