aaahhhhh! Jim Beam. It's like mother's milk. :o) Beam & Coke is ok for earlier in the evening but it still isn't as good as Beam up with a lemon slice or on the rocks. Some of the Beam brand 'Designer' bourbons are pretty good. Those you need to drink straight. No mixers allowed!

Its my wife's drink of choice. Jim Beam and Diet Coke. I prefer Woodford Reserve straight, Wild Turkey 101, or a 15 year old single malt scotch.

Throw a bottle of Beam in the freezer for a day or two. Let it get nice and cold (it won't freeze), when it's time to enjoy it, open the bottle and drink! You don't need a glass, hell the whiskey comes in glass...THE BOTTLE! Give the Coke to the kids and let 'em get a good sugar rush and crash. That way they can get a "buzz" too.

Jim in a shot glass is the best way. If you want a desert drink, try it with chocolate ice cream and pecans. Eat with a spoon.
