Praise the Lord!

A "Jesus Camp" should be about teaching innocent children about the LOVE of Christ, about engaging in His love and appropriating it into everyday situations, about practicing the Presence of the Holy One, about Charity, about being the Good Samaritan, about how to be Christ-like, and "What Would Jesus Do". "Spiritual Warfare" is a very tricky and dangerous arena, because often it actually inverts into the practicing of the presence of the demonic nature, rather than Divine Nature. Children are easily influenced, and clearly anyone in their right mind could see that what was happening at the Jesus Camp, particularly revering a cut-out figure of President Bush to a god-like status, had utterly nothing to do with Christ Jesus of the Bible. Instead, it was demonic brainwashing. If the controversial Jesus Camp has shut down, then definitely Jesus, Himself, had His Holy Hand in its demise.

I believe it's a good thing because of their methods. They seem to be along the line of brainwashing, but I don't think it should close on account of the movie or Haggard's scandal. I think it should be closed based on self analysis on Becky Fischer and the parents' parts.

I'm sorry it had to close because of vandalism, but to tell you the truth, I sleep better at night knowing it doesn't exist anymore. That was one scary, cultish, place.
