I am a stay at home mom and often feel bored and lonely-any other stay at home moms feel this way and if so what do you do to have fun and make the day go by faster?

It is hard to be a stay at home mom...but it's a blessing too! I try to play with my kids between chores...sometimes when I feel like I'm ready to break down from stress...I just slow myself down and realize that this time is so precious...that one day I will wish I could have the days back when they were so close and I could spend time with them...but it is hard...maybe try to reach out to some other mom's in your neighborhood....play dates can be fun for the kids and you can bs with some adults...hang in there your not alone....

And I thought I was the only one...lol. My kids are still little and take naps and that's when the boredom and loneliness catch up to me. I'm not bored in that I have nothing to do, I'm bored with routineness of my days. I try to do at least one fun thing outside of the house with the kids each week. I can't make the days go by faster unfortunately, I wish I could though. Um, yea, the lady who said clean your house...duh! I would hope you clean your house since your home all day...

well i have the same problem.... bored, lonley!! well actullay i took back my life started to workout loosing some pounds it is really fun to put on some dance music and watch the kids show off there moves!!! lol i help more with church, and turned into a very neat and organized person into a clean freak!! i think we all are clean freaks. just getting up in the morning and knowing that all i have to do is my husbands laundry,help with homework, clean messes,cook super and etc. makes me thank god for letting me be there for my children and always knowing what is going on with them that my friend will keep any mom going!!!!

I CLEAN MY HOUSE, MAKE PHONE CALLS, RUN ERRANDS, OH, AND I ALSO HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD AND A SET OF 1 YEAR OLD TWINS. SO, I KEEP BUSY. MY DAYS ALWAYS GO FAST. IF I HAVE TIME, WHILE THEY ARE NAPPING AND MY WORK IS CAUGHT UP, I SOMETIMES CHAT ON HERE OR ANSWER QUESTIONS. IF YOU BABYSIT OTHER PEOPLES KIDS AND DO HOUSE WORK EVERY DAY, THAT SHOULD KEEP YOUR DAYS FILLED!! GOOD LUCK!!

take up a hobby/ies..
excercise? window shopping? reading at the park..coffee shop?
decorating the house?
there is actually a lot you can do but it is whether you are willing to be consistent and DO it..

Any fun I have revolves around my kids having fun.
But I have internet buddies (I know pathetic)
