The Steak Diane at the link below is good. The only thing I change is that when I saute the steaks in the butter, I also add a tablespoon of cooking oil to the butter because it raises the burning point and allows you to saute them at a higher temperature. Also, you can keep all proportions the same so that you have plenty of sauce, but you only need to cook 2 steaks instead of 4.

GRILLED RIB-EYE STEAKS WITH PARSLEY-GARLIC BUTTER
The garlicky herb butter is similar to the butter served with escargots in southwestern France. IMPROV: When preparing the butter, try a shallot instead of garlic, and thyme instead of parsley.
For the Parsley-Garlic Butter, mix together in small bowl, then cover and chill:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 garlic clove, pressed
2 teaspoons Cognac
Salt and pepper
Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Rub with generous amounts of salt and pepper:
3 1 1/2-inch-thick rib-eye steaks (about 1 pound each)
Grill steaks to desired doneness, about 6 minutes per side for medium-rare. Cut each steak in half, top with spoonful of chilled butter, and serve.
Makes 6 servings.

you could saute the steak in a grill pan and add wine to the leftover juices with mushrooms. Add some garlic and a little flour to thicken. Use your palate and try to use a wine that you would normally enjoy drinking..

easy..and delicious...use red wine...
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons beef drippings
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 1/2 cups wine
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
DIRECTIONS
Add garlic to drippings in pan; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add wine; stir, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze. Boil, stirring constantly, until syrupy. Remove from heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter, and stir until the it melts. Repeat with remaining butter. Stir in parsley, and serve.
