Yes, at that age, I think it is too far apart. Huge difference between 14 and 16.

To me it's not the age that makes a differente it's if both are mature or imature. if you act your age the no but if your 14 and act 4 then yes your to young to date a 16 year old

no i'm 14 and really mature i like this 18 year old i wish all the time he was 16 because i wouldn't be as bad and it would be legal...depending on where you live....anywayz ya what i am saying is that if your mature and you guys both like each other go for it...just be careful older guys sometimes try to get stuff out of you...ya know what i mean!

Depends which one is 14 and which one is 16. Also depends on what you mean by 'date'. If it's just going to a show or to a football game, that's one thing, but if it's a romantic tryst, that's quite another.

No, that is completely normal with a person younger than them by a age or two and sometimes 3 years is also OK.

its not at all too apart... my brother dates a girl 5 years younger.. and my sister dates a guy 4 years younger...

No. I think its fine at this age. I dont see a problem with it. Love never put an age limit on love.
