Someone is asking to buy our Bose system. We're not sure what price we should sell it to her for. We're looking at upgrading the current system. Any idea?

The Lifestyle 30 doesn't have DVD playing function, only CD.

Just like there is a Blue Book for cars, there is also a Blue Book for Audio and Video Gear. It will cost you a few dollars to get results but, it's well worth it.

It's not so much the wide open area that changes the sound as it is the materials of the walls and floor. This will especially make a difference with the bass. Just take a little time to experiment in placing the bass module according to the setup guide that comes with it and you should be fine. As for how good or bad bose is, it doesn't matter what the other answerers enjoy hearing, it's what you enjoy hearing. I'm pretty sure they don't all have the exact same setup, that's cuz we all have different tastes. Enjoy your new system!
