Not corn from a grocery store but fresh picked. Are the nutrients cooked out or brought to life when cooked? or is it healthier just to eat it raw?

I don't think it would make a difference, except for taste. Corn is not really digested and raw corn would probably not get digested at all. It is healthier than canned or frozen. An idea for cooking.. Keep it in the stalk and throw it on the grill. Put a little salt over it when eating..

As far as the nutrients go, it is healthier to eat the corn raw. But as far as digestibility goes, you are better to cook it.

no matter if you picked it fresh or bought it , the less you cook it the better the nutrients . if you buy fresh dont boil it more than five mins, if you cut it off the cob, first fry a little bacon in the pan, dont let it brown , add corn removed from cob, two to three tlbs sugar , a dash of sal t and pepper , maybe a 1/4 cup of water cook for ten mins max maybe less tast e to see, maybe six bacon sliices for five to six ears corn ,,,,, old country recipe , that is wonderful ,

One thing is for sure before man knew to cook it, it was eaten raw. And it can't hurt if you do. All veggies are better if eaten raw. Yet corn just doesn't strike me as the SUPER veggie anyway. But never the less... go for it.
