I need links or a way to get links to get them. Help me, I'm broke I've signed up for some may scholarships and haven't gotten one so I'm trying it again. People say there there are tons of random scholarships out there but I haven't seen one. May be I don't know where to look. I live in the US.

There are several sources to locate scholarships. However, there are many students trying for some. Pay attention to their website and customize the application essay based on yourself and the organization itself. Also have several people proofread your essay before submitting for both grammar, spelling and if you get your point across. All of these sources are free.

First, the high school guidance office has a list of local scholarships for its current students.

Second, the college admissions website has a list of private scholarships from companies and organizations. Sometimes, at a college major's website with the school, it will have a list of scholarships available, too.

Third, search Google.com and Yahoo.com for scholarships based on college major, ethnicity, race, and religion.

Finally, I recommend joining several free membership scholarship search websites. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most have a customized search based on what you put into the form.

Good luck!
