for about 6 mouths I asked him to talk to me, one night as I was sleeping, I woke up I couldn't open my eyes, a voice called out my name, then he said "I love you" then the voice asked "Do you believe in me?" I said "I believe" he said "Go tell my children", . My lord consider it done.

Spirituality is interior and personal. Absolutely. If you take a step back and ignore the nonsense...all religions say the exact same thing...be good to others, be good to yourself and listen to your heart.. God did not favor one religion over another, he spread it out all over the world. It is a gigantic puzzle and everyone holds a peice.
This thought over-whelms me in exactly the way you are speaking of, and I hope that I may witness a day when we all put it together.

lol, ur very dedicated to ur religion and thats a good thing. actually, to believe in God, u shud always feel the presence of him working. for me, its Allah and just to wake up every morning knowing that im alive and in good health is a big blessing and for that im thankful to Him. when i get around my fellow Muslimahs and feel the atmosphere of how dedicated evry1 is to God, u do get touched and do cry and get amazed of how the world works. im guessing it wud be same for u in ur situation, so its ok to cry. ;)

Hi
Considering Love exists, and hate etc. Emotions...it is ironic that people reject that we cannot have fealings of personal/spiritual connection with our creator.
Yes. Jesus is real, and so it is our responses(emotions) are infact genuine and not conceived.
The spirit realm....is more lasting than that which we see here and now.
Memories etc, stay with us loooooooooooooong after the event occurs.
anyways....Godbless you and enjoy seeking the Lord, and being a blessing for others! =] -LIVE4TRUTH=]

I feel closer to God now then when I considered myself a Christian. Its a matter of finding your own path.

well, i don't have a god, a deity but when i find myself suddenly stunned by awe and caught breathless by beauty of this Planet and the Universe i sense my own minuscule selfhood standing amid the peerless glory of existence. maybe that could be considered sensing "God".

I am Deist and do not believe God intervenes in this world and I do not feel his presence. I used to be Christian, and what you describe as "God's presence" is your emotions, nothing else.
