My wife and I, who recently moved to Denver, have been trying to meet other born again christians in the area.

We invited over a nice couple from the local church for an evening at our place. Tim owns a hardware store. Kate is a mother of 3.

After we had eaten Tim and I settled down with a non alcoholic drink while the women did the dishes. He asked me if I would like to sleep with Kate. Kate is a real knock out, with a pretty face, long legs, and a great rack. I knew I would have my wifes permission. She and I have attended many wife swapping evenings through our old church.

When Kate and I came back from the bedroom an hour later, Tim was waiting for me to say something. After I thanked him, he seemed angry and asked if he could now sleep with my wife. I replied certainly not - I had already had his wife and did not want to share mine.

In the Bible it says "Since we are his children we will share his treasures." - Gal.5:25

Was it unchristian not to share my wife?

No, it was not unchristian of you. It was, however, unchristian of him to offer his wife.

You didn't offer him a used dinner, did you?

You should have followed the example set by the most devout man in the Old Testament, Lot. You should have offered your daughters, one to the other. Lacking daughters, sons.

This serves a double purpose, for in later years, like Lot, you might want to avail yourselves of the services of your own children, as the Bush family does, and they are admired as being exemplary Christians, legends in their own minds.

The trinity is not a Catholic thing at all, it's a part of nearly every Christian denomonation. Being 'born again' is a more common term among protestants. And just a note to the person who mentioned the King James Bible, I'm not sure where you're getting your information from but that version is becoming less and less common, most churches these days use the NIV, and as for swearing on it, no one should actually swear on a Bible because the Bible itself says not to swear on anything, "let your yes be yes and your no be no".

Does not matter if you wanna give your wife to a pimp, sure you can do it.

You will have to give account for each evil words proceeding from you at the time of judgment. Keep this in your mind.

Sorry No Born Again Christians will do like you do. We know for what we are persuaded and we know we will reach our destination. We know none of your evil fiery darts gonna knock us down.

Is this a joke thread.

Clearly you are thinking about commiting adultery. If you are christian, you already got to repent. Sorry.

In my case, I'm a taoist so I don't have so much to worry about sin. Still, I would never do this nor would any of the girls I've ever dated.

You must be a displaced Moron... I mean Mormon. I imagine Denver isn't a long journey by saddle from Salt Lake City.

if that is how you honor your wife (and vice versa), then breaking the covenant is as un-christian as you can get.
God calls these people infidels.

The four of you are not Christians. You can quit the masquerade and face the fact, Jack.
