I was gonna say fruit, then I noticed you specified candy, so I'd have to say those little individual wrapped candy kisses, they are hard as a rock - some little kid is gonna break a tooth!

i don't circulate trick or treating, yet while my buddy went there become rotten granola bars, previous college candy, expired candied apples, tasteless popcorn balls. that is why i'm on no account going.

Not candy, but little Bibles, toothbrushes, or crocheting kits (I'm not kidding). I hated those houses when I was a kid. I know they probably had good intentions, but come on, that's ridiculous.

Those nasty-tasting plaster-like pastel valentine hearts.
(buy them in january, let them AGE)

A bag of marshmallows, if purchased now and left open in a cabinet until next Halloween should be pretty bad as well.
