what is a good digital Camera?

I need a good quality camera around $300- $550. lowest mega pix i can go is 7. i need it for taking pictures of family. I DO NOT LIKE THE SLIM styles .... I'm going for a more professional looking and acting one.

The Olympus SP-510UZ is only $250. For your needs, the Fuji S9000 is has nine megapixels and a wide angle lense for $450. Then you'd have $100 left over for a 2GB xD card.

Why 7?? 4MP's is good. Nikon D70s or Nikon D50.
