Indeed. *applauds* A caucasian depiction of the original hippie is about as accurate as The Real World's depiction of..the real world.

Being Jewish has nothing to do with his skin color. There are light colored skin Jewish people. Judaism is a religion not a nationality. Jesus being middle eastern is what most likely determined the color of his skin. It would be with an olive tone and dark hair and eyes. I have never seen a blonde haired, blue eyed Jesus. I don't know what photos you've seen...

Obviously he didn't have blue eyes or blond hair. No one in that region looked like that during that period of time. Average looking for the region was dark hair and darker skin. He was a Jew, but the Jews didn't look like the typical Jew today. Some of the first Jews came from Africa, Egypt. The common pictures of Jesus that you usually see are attempts to brain-wash society. Your an idiot if you think that anyone looked like that, in that region, back then. He was probably more Arab looking. Possible more African looking.

No living person here on Earth knows!!
In all probability He would have the usual ethnic Jewish physical/human appearances -- with possibly a little bit of Jericho and Moab genetic makeup..
Of course, His being fully Human AND fully Deity, and since He is the "second Adam", it might be possible that He might have the appearance and complexion, etc. similar to what the first Adam had. (Could have been a recessive gene or some such thing.)
Whatever, I think we can expect that His Human Body would be without blemish. And in Glory, after the resurrection of Believers, His will be the only Body which will have imperfections ... the nail prints and the riven side.

Jesus was not only a Jew, He was King of the Jews. He is never described in the Bible because God knows our tendencies towards idol worship. Besides, the colour of any ones skin is unimportant, it's who they are as a human being that matters. But in a way you are right. Since Jesus was Jewish it's highly unlikely He had blue eyes and blond hair. Then again, these are paintings and drawings by artists who are simply painting their impressions. In other words it's art, not Gospel

I have NEVER seen a picture of Jesus with blond hair and blue eyes. You're getting Jesus confused with Nazis which is just sad.
It DOESN'T matter what color Jesus was. It wouldn't make a difference. What matters about Jesus is his purpose on Earth and what he has done and taught us. That he died for us as our atonement for all our sins. Tell me what color has to do with any of that.
That being said . . . Jesus was a Jew . . .. . what do Jews look like, buddy? Is this REALLY that hard? Sheesh. white-ISH with brown-ish hair and probably brown eyes. Just like all the pictures. What a coinkydink who woulda thunk it.
why do people TRY SO HARD to make simple things complicated? Now THERE'S a question YOU should think about.

In a manner of speaking, it really doesn't matter.
"Graven images" are forbidden in the Commandments. Statues, pictures and paintings all fall into this category because no one knows what Jesus looked like, therefore they are a false image, and therefore, idolotrous objects.
In all likelihood though, Jesus being Jewish and of middle eastern lineage, was Caucasian. But before anyone declares Jesus to be "white," understand that King Solomon, son of King David, is in the blood line. Song of Solomon states that Solomn was very dark skinned, calling himself black.
It's also worth noting that middle eastern countries are frequently considered to be part of the Orient.

Jesus was Middle eastern.Noah had 3 sons,Ham was the father of the Africans from Ethiopia up to and thru No. Africa.Japheth was the father of the Europeans and southern Europeans, and Shem was the father of the area of Persia,Babylon,Syria, around there.Jesus was a descendant of Shem. The Egyptian word is Sem,where we get the word "Semite".Obviously He was brown. How brown? Who knows. His ancestor Sarah was "blond and beautiful",his ancestor David was "red haired and ruddy",so Jesus could have been anything. If you don't think there's red haired Iranians and Arabs, think again.Same with all races.Blond too.I think He was darker complected, myself.

Jesus Christ was born a jew, born in the middle east. He was the most beautiful color that our mind can not even imagine. The color is LOVE. Meditate on it for a while and look into the spirit. Love is not natural, it is spiritual. I doubt that He looks anything like the pictures. His color is so bright that we would drop dead if we were to see Him while we are in this body. His color will be the only light in heaven. He will light it up all by Himself....Too beautiful to imagine with our minds...good question...

Jesus Christ's race was that of a SEMITE, not a white man with blond hair and blue eyes. A Semite has light to medium brown skin and usually brown eyes plus somewhat curly dk. brown to black hair.
The reason why we see Jesus in our Christian churches with blue eyes and blond or light hair, is that white people feel they need to identify with him. In order to do that he must look like they do. I presume that most racists would not accept a Christ who looks like an Arab.

Lets see, assuming he was Jewish, which everyone except for the white sepremist says he was. And assuming he was from the middle east, he would have looked like a middle eastern Jewish carpenter from about 2000 years ago, give or take 30 years.
