I've lost 50 pds in the last year by using these techniques-
I don't eat after 8:00 pm
I drink plenty of water, I don't drink sodas
I donot eat fast foods as much and when I do I stick salads or
fish. I snack on tuna, veggies and I stay away from donuts and
bread. However when it's time for my cycle all choclate is fair
game. I don't weight myself-instead I go by how my clothes fit.

I lost 25 pounds in 30 days on a no diet plan called STACK. I didn't skip meals, eat or buy special foods, or even exercise. It's the simpliest weight loss plan I have found in my 45 years as it only takes about 15 minutes a day

Yes, I have dropped 18 pounds by avoiding fried food, sweets and having snacks between the meals. One of the common reasons for gaining weight is the salty nuts that you take with or without drinks. I am very careful about that too.
To start with, it wasn't easy. I had got so used to helping myself with more curry, bread or rice that I stopped only when I was feeling full. That was a mistake because I was overeating all the time.
Now, I place everything I want to eat in measured quantities on my plate and resist the temptation to eat more, specially in parties.
I was careful about reducing my weight too fast. Some do it in 3 to 6 months. It too me longer than that because I did not want to end up feeling weaker after reducing too fast.

I use to loose weight easy but it is a chore now. I'm trying 30 minutes of the treadmill and 30 minutes of weights 5 days a week. Along with eating low carb low, fat food and not eating 6 hours before going to bed. I hope it works I would like to loose 3-4 pounds a week.

I lost 54 lbs...you can even see my before and after pic on my site here http://www.healthandstrength.net
It took me 9 months, and here is what I did!!! (And still do to stay healthy and slim)
1. NEVER EVER ate sugar. It's a poison that makes us older, sicker, fatter and tired...all things we dont want. Seriously, sugar is the one who does the dirty work in weight gain. Stop eating it all together. You can see my list of ingredients to avoid when shopping here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweeka.htm...
2. Drink ALOT of water. 2-3 liters a day. The more the merrier! We need about half our body weight in ounces JUST for regular body functions! When you feel thirsty, that means you are already dehydrated and lose brain function. Water flushes toxins from your fat cells and keeps you younger.
3. Exercise!!! So very important. Here http://www.healthandstrength.net/abexe.htm... are my favorite ab exercises. I also do cardio 4-5 days a week for about 30 minutes a time.
4. Eat less. How many calories do you think is in that burger or that plate of fries or in that handful of chips. What about overfilling our plates? If you go here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweek.htm... I wrote something about saving on calories and losing weight.
5. Go to sleep before 10pm. Your body starts repairing and rebuilding and speeding up weight loss while you sleep only if you sleep at about 10pm. If you are awake and go to bed at 12, you miss out on that very important time. I have a good article on my site here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweekb.htm that talks about the importance of sleep and how STRESS can make actually make you fatter.
6. BE POSITIVE. Be thankful every day and love yourself
7. BE CONSISTANT! That I think is the KEY to losing weight. So what if you went a week and only lost a pound...or didnt lose any...KEEP going. DON'T stop. This is a lifelong commitment, so stick to it and one day you will open your eyes and need a new wardrobe!
8. Eat more veggies and skinny friendly foods. I have my list of my top ten foods that I ate to lost weight here http://www.healthandstrength.net/tenfoods.htm...
80% veggies at every meal including breakfast will keep you young and help you lose weight.
9. Do the little things that count! Check out 10 cool ideas that you can do to help boost your calorie burn throught the day here: http://www.healthandstrength.net/tips.htm
Good luck and don't forget that YOU are the only one who decides what foods enter your body and how long you sit around. Make the change, take the chance and give yourself time! You can do it. I know you can!

Of course I was overwight to begin with but I lost 24# in 3 months just by cutting down on how much I ate and riding my bicycle almost everyday. I ate an egg for breakfast and a salad with a little protein for lunch. I ate whatever I wanted for dinner. I didn't deny myself anything that I liked, like ice cream (my favorite!). I just cut out something else instead. Never felt better or looked better for a long time!

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories
in the food you eat should be less than the
energy you use. You will have to increase your
metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will
lose weight faster. More details available at
