Tempura veggies...(i suggest..green beans, sliced sweet potatoes, broccoli etc)
INGREDIENTS
2 quarts oil for deep frying
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
salt to taste
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 teaspoons lime juice
1 teaspoon white sugar
DIRECTIONS
Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, sesame seeds and beer until smooth. Roll the veggies in the flour mixture to coat.
Deep fry the coated beans in small batches until golden brown, about 1 1/2 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels. Salt to taste.
This is so easy and so good...it looks and tastes like you slaved all day!
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lime juice and sugar to use as a dipping sauce.

This will sound crazy, but it's amazing.
Get some bisquick ( or however you spell it ) batter, and add some garlic, basil, a pinch of oregano & some romano cheese. Mix it together well, and use it to deep fry your veggies in...
Tastes amazing!
