I have read that the ocean fish stocks are collapsing from overfishing. By the end of the century, ocean fish stock could be completely gone. Hundreds of species are disappearing on land and sea from water pollution and destruction of habitat. And there is global warming from carbon that took hundreds of millions of years for nature to lock up in the earth being release in decades. The basic problem is that humans are too populated.

if we cannot develop a better respect for our fellow man and our planet...our extinction appears inevitable
and at our own hands too.
does any other extinct species have that same distinction? I don't think so

Since the water drift in the oceans has slowed down and other things like floods and weird storms and everything going on now. I think the United States sill slowly get colder and colder until we have to move to South America or Africa. the Oceans will rise about 15 or more feet because of global warming. I think it has already gone so far that it is too late. I think if people are smart and start colonizing the moon. or something we will be.
It may take 10 or 20 years till it all takes hold but I think it has already gone too far for fixing. I think we will eventually become densely populated. WATCH FOR THE SIGNS.

No, humans will not become extinct. At least not any time soon, as in not for many thousands of years. That is just politically motivated propaganda designed to scare you into supporting their position. The absolutely worst thing that could happen would be something like the great depression of 1930. Actually, a nuclear world war would be much worse, but that won't happen either.

No, I don't believe humans are in danger of extinction - but we might be making life pretty miserable for ourselves if we're not careful.
