LOL!!!! I grew up on a farm--the house was on a hill and we used to slide down in the winter (we'd take buckets of water out to make it really icey!!) Daddy bought some new windows and had them by the garage (which was at the end of the hill). Sis and I iced the hill-got the sled--and went full tilt down--right into the new windows-they shattered!!! Spring came-Daddy looked at his windows, and I just told him "you know--freezing, thawing, glass shatters". I think 20 years later we told him what happened.

Yes, and it was sooooo much fun!!!! I came from a big family(9) and we got into all kinds of trouble growing up, but some things we just blamed on the ones that had just moved out or something...lol... but now after all these years mom and dad know who did everything and we all just laugh!! It is so great to be able to confess to something you did years ago and NOT get in trouble anymore. Our children even laugh just hearing some the things that their mommy and daddys did when they were little, but of course, we dont want them to think they can so the same and get away with it....LOL....The laws have changed alot since we were little and alot of the things we did ,like sneaking out of the house and things like that are not SAFE anymore. SAD BUT TRUE!!!! Its a totally different, world now then it was when i was growing up!!!!!!! We got our little a** whipped when we did wrong and i think that has alot to do with the way the children act today!!!!

Oh yeah! My brothers and sister always come together and revisit our childhood often. In the past 10 years we have all revealed secrets to our parents such as.....who broke the neighbors mailbox while skating too fast down the street and needed to grab onto something (me), who threw the M80 down the sewer manhole (older bother), who lit the street on fire with homemade chemicals (younger brother) and summoned the police and who threw a luau while our parents were in Arizona. Oh...we had 300 bottles of beer at the bottle of the pool. Our parents were shocked because we lived in a middle to upper class community, my mother never worked and we still found a way to get into mischief. Good times! Good times!

Yes and we all had a good laugh about it all. It's all in the past and nothing can change history. Might as well laugh. Of course, I didn't do anything so drastic as to dent Dad's car. Oh my. I wouldn't be able to confess that. I would blame it on a sibling. lol

What usually happens in my family, now that I'm 40something and my sister and mom are just not as close as they had been for the last twenty -five years, I am finding out all kinds of stories my sister told my mom which did not flatter me in the least!! The downside being that I am beginning to realize that my sister hates me but on the upside - my mom is gaining new insight and respect for me (better late than never . . . right?!?) and we have grown closer. Oh well - what can you say? I am certain that, as far as families go, mine are probably not the worst in the world.

Yes, and usually it is all laughs, like another answerer said. You have to be old enough for it to be funny and well past the phase of life you are in currently!
