Maybe it's silly, but I much prefer the term 'wizard' over 'witch' even though I'm female. Have no idea why! Maybe because wizard is more rhythmic with 2 syllables?

A wizard is simply one who practices magic, so no I wouldn't find it offensive at all. Be who YOU want to be.

It's all semantics really, and to be honest I don't see any problem with it myself. Like others have said what you prefer to be called is your business not mine, and if I were to get offended by some choosing this term over one that is used more often it is just childish to get angry or offended by what someone else chooses to call themselves. It just like I say tomato, yet others say tamato. It's the same thing just a different pronunciation, or in your case a different word all together, but in the end it is just a word used by you to define who and what you are, and no one has the right to tell you other wise.

No, not offended by it. I just view it as different than what a witch is. A wizard, in my opinion, can be either male or female.... I view it more as a ceremonial thing.

Well, no.

Men & Women are called witches, not warlocks or anything else.

But spirt, what ever facet you work with want you to be comfortable in your own skin. if Wizard makes you more comfortable in your workings, go for it.

Blessed Be.

I am not offended by it, it is just not my personal preference.

Not offended but it is not something I would asked to be called. But if it works for you, than it is cool by me.
