If you are a born again christian you will rule and riegn with Jesus. He is the king of kings and the lord of lords. But we will not be floating around without a purpose. We will have divine jobs that glorify God with the talents He gave us. Just like how we have talents to glorify God now on Earth. But it may be a differant one in Heaven. The New Jerulselem will be our home and it will be above the earth and we will be able to pass to and from the New Jeruselem to help govern the Earth below. The New Jeruselum will be sitting where the satillites sit that orbit around the earth. The measurements and the height of the New Jeruselum are given in Revelations. We will be busy. But not tired and unfullfilled like alot of us are at our earthly jobs.

According to the Bible, a person's eternal destiny is not heaven, it is the new heavens and the new earth (or hell for unbelievers). Life will be much like it is now, but the pain, sickness, death, killing, hate, war, will all be gone. Probably we will have something to do, since Adam and Eve had something to do (take care of the garden) before the fall of mankind.

Since work activity was created for Adam and Eve before the fall. We will have work activity in heaven. If you want to know more than that then you will have to wait.

We will work (work we enjoy) and be productive in the new city. Two great reads (biblically based) are Hank Hanagraaff's Resurrection and Joni Erackson Tada's Heaven, Your Real Home. God bless you. ~Nise~

Really we need to focus on getting there. Only the ones that endure to the end will be saved. We need to have a relationship with God now and worship Him. In heaven we will worship Him. Heaven is a place of worship with no saddness. We can get close enough to God in this life to live in heaven on earth. If God lives in me and I live in Him then I can live in the Kingdom of God here. We mature in our spirit as we spend time with God. We prosper as our soul prospers. That means when my spirit matures I will prosper in my physical, spiritual, finances and emotions. I shall prosper in every area of my life. I will have much wisdom from God. I hate what God hates and love what he loves. I learn to love the unlovable. We will even love our enemies like the Bible says. We dedicate our body and everything that God gives us back to Him. Get ready. When He splits the sky only those carrying His Holy Spirit in them will see Him. In other words die to self {your enemy} and let Him live in you and thru you.
