It is not advisable to maintain at your current weight. You are about 40-45 pounds underweight for your height. Most importantly you are a teenager and you are still growing. Good dieting tips for you is to eat balanced meals and gain some weight instead of maintaining at your current weight.

You shouldn't weigh 86 pounds...I'm almost 13 and I weigh around 95 pounds. I'm not fat, alot of my friends think I'm really skinny. Well, if you want to look like nicole richie.....play sports, ,and work out at the gym, run, do crunches, etc. I'm also 5"4 1/2.

Honey.. You are seriously under-weight! Why in the world would you want to maintain 86 lbs.? Are you sure you don't have an eating disorder?

Ask the people around you how you look. Chances are they will all tell you to GAIN. Please don't hurt yourself. You are so young and could be messing yourself up for life. Please get some help.

Good Lord girl! You're right: you shouldn't lose weight... you should gain weight! That is incredibly too low of a weight for someone your height and you may not see them now, but that can have some serious health effects.

I would recommend that you go to your pediatrician and see where you're at on the growth scale. I'm thinking you're underweight for your age and body proportions. Please take this advice before something negative develops. Good luck.
