am i being messed around?

ok im going out witht his girl 2moro on what i thought was a date, but we was talking about how nervous we was and she said "lucky we only going as mates or we would be more nervous" i mean what the hell is up with that? should i even bother....i kinda feel like im being messed around, what do u think? all suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated

not to worry, she's trying to be cool. if it's always like this let her know how you feel and still nothing, move on.

My guess is she is not messing with you, but is trying to deal with her own nervousness by joking that you're only going out as mates. You should bother, if this is someone you like, or might like. You just don't have enough info yet--this date will reveal a lot ... especially if you come right out and ask her, if it isn't clear by the end of the night! There's nothing wrong with starting out friends, in fact that really is the way to get to know someone and to develop a real relationship ... What would be nice is that you find you sense a mix of friendship and attraction ... but you won't know til you spend the time! Good luck!

She is probably trying to quiet her nervousness by making herself believe this. It will make her feel more relaxed and let her have a better time. Try the same thing so that your nervousness will be stilled too. If you have a good time try it again and before long you and she will be calling it dating and will be comfortable with the idea. If it ends up not working out then you will have just been out with a friend on a friendly basis and not a date and that way it will be easier to remain friends. ◙

dont go out with your friend if yu fell you have to go out with your friend on a date how in the hell will you ever be alone with that guy if you feel like that you dont want to date that guy in the frist place
