have been dating this guy and things have been great, he even told me he loved me. Well, yesterday, just out of the blue, I wrote him a text asking him a question (if he wanted to hang out). No response! Guys, what is this? Is he mad at me? Does he want space? Does he just feel it is OK not to respond sometimes? Should I just wait for him to get in touch with me? I mean, this is a guy who just told me he loves me. But he doesn't even take the time to respond? Am I really just worried about nothing? I know this seems crazy, I have just been so hurt before and am just scared of him not caring.

I can see when he has received it - so I know he did. And he has does this before. Like he just needs space. But it freaks me out

can you say paranoia? chill out sometimes guys take a longer time to process and have to analyse everything... trust me two brothers and all of my best friends are guys... just give him time OR you can call to talk about something else and see if he metions the text, he may have not noticed he got one or already gone over a limit, he will probably apologize for not responding or act completely normal like nothing happend, if it really bothers him you could tell him but it might just complicate your relationship more, its the first time so give him a break but be cautious if it happens often

Some guys feel funny by acting all mushing on the cell with their girlfriend...they think it will make them look less manly in front of their friends. I know it seems dumb...but the friends will tease them I have seen guys do it from state to state..give It a day or tow and if he does not respond call him and talk to and ask him straight up....Because guys can be dumb at times...I know when I have called the wife or she called me at work I her straight a*s comments a few times...

Well maybe he is busy or his cell phone is dead. Give him a few days, I'm sure nothing's wrong. Guys just need their own space sometimes...like a couple of nights w/ the guys. You shouldn't worry.

If I were you, I'd feel the same. Perhaps you'd want to cool off a bit and wait a bit longer. Anything could have happened to your message to him. I've called a few people and left messages on their cell phones, but they never got them!!! Just wait a bit longer, and if nothing happens, call and talk to him on the phone. Good luck.

Don't worry, RELAX! Don't panic, maybe he was sleep or something. It most likely doesn't mean that he needs space, or he's mad at you. If you're really worried about it, just tell him how you feel. You'll get an answer. Good Luck & God Bless!

Calm down...why we chicks panic over stuff like this, I do not know (entirely)...but we do and we shouldn't.
Don't contact him again...let him contact you...when he does, then ask him (casually, NOT accusingly) if he got your text and if he says yes, why he didn't reply...if he indicates that he doesn't always reply, then I'd recommend no more texts if you want to ask him something (either call and speak to him, or ask him face to face)...
But don't panic because you didn't get a reply...and you know how technology is...it's also possible he never got the message...don't assume the worst...don't be your own worst enemy...

i think you're a bit anxious and letting your imagination get away from you. it could be that his cell phone not working, he is away...
just be patient and wait and see. if after a while - call him and see what you get
in the meantime - hang out with some girlfriends to take your mind off of this.

He may not have gotten your text. My wife has texted me before and I have not gotten it.You gotten hurt before and it's probably just your mind overreacting sinse you have been hurt before. Good luck to you, God will lead you to mister right. My wife and I had almost given up and prayed to find someone and we met on a blind date five years ago and were married within five months.

girl chill out. he might have his phone off or he just could not find the time to answer that text. if you keep texing him you are gonna make his nerves go wherever. dont ruin a relationship like dat. gove it time. if he wants space, you should love hime enough to give him it.

hold on....maybe you should try calling him. sometimes texts just dont go through or get lost on the way...you're kind of overreacting and im not trying to be mean about it. but u dont wanna stress urself out over everything. im sure everythings fine.
