Even younger than 13 you need to be concerned about an eating disorder and sometimes parents don't recognize it.

Have a frank discussion with them about your concerns. She could have anorexia or even a growth hormone disorder that needs treatment. If they refuse to listen, one recourse is reporting this to children's protective services in your area for investigation. Hopefully you can avoid that, but the welfare of the child should be the highest priority.

And girls are usually about 90% grown when they reach puberty and have their first period.

people don't stop to grow until 25 yrs.... usually woman'sheight stops at the age 17...18.... all depends on the individual.... emm... try to make her eat high protein foods with many natural oils.... also .. lost of appetite may be caused of not enough of vitamines..... i think that you should consult your nutritien, and maybe even consider making blood tests to see if there is anything that is missing... or perhaps she has some thign too much in her blood that may cause her malnutritien.

Have her parents sought a medical evaluation for her? Pediatricians and Family Doctors have growth charts that they use to see where a child is developmentally. If there is a growth problem, this can be treated. Best of luck to you and your family!
